Dan is literally Jim. He’s the only one that is okay with putting his boss in check (literally yells at Ethan not to say something stupid in fears of strikes lmao just like Jim always has to tell Michael he was about to do something stupid) and has the natural confidence to be able to mess around with his boss without fear of getting in trouble. He’s also the most sarcastic, and dams sarcasm is A+. At the end of the day he’s technically the one keeping the place afloat, in certain ways he’s more knowledgeable and competent than his own boss but won’t be bc he’s more of a behind the scenes guy. It’s someone who everyone loves despite not always being the most outwardly excited, Jim never cares about the little office goofs and gags (there’s a lot of segments u can tell Dan doesn’t give a shit about, kinda like the Colleen PowerPoint and a lot of drama, but he’s gonna show up and still support his coworkers). Dan is also the one guy who would give the least of a shit who he was voted most likely to be which is such Jim energy.
